Celebrating 70 years
of legal expertise

- MEET THE TEAM

We’re a friendly team with the experience to understand exactly what you need

KWW is home to a highly trained team of legal professionals that share an enthusiasm for building client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering a first-class service.

Our people are great listeners and demonstrate compassion and empathy in everything they do, ensuring clients feel supported and at ease throughout the whole process.

Our Google reviews speak for themselves, with clients enthusing about individual team members, not just the firm.

It’s important to acknowledge that our front-line advisers wouldn’t be able to do what they do so well without the support of our unsung heroes: our fantastic back-office team.

David Anstee

Managing Partner/Family Law

David, who is our managing partner, heads KWW’s Family Law department, dealing with divorce and separation and always looking to find the best, most amicable, least stressful route forward for clients.

David qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and joined KWW in 1997. He is an accredited specialist with Resolution, a qualified Family Mediator and an accomplished advocate.

As a business leader, David is on a mission to ensure KWW maintains its tradition for personal service while adding all the behind-the-scenes efficiencies that come from embracing new technology.

For relaxation, David enjoys slipping on the earphones and listening to some classic jazz and swing, and he can often be found rummaging around music shops for some rare Blue Note platter or other. He is learning to play the saxophone in a bid to become Surbiton’s answer to Stan Getz.

David loves his sport. He played cricket to a high standard and he is a tidy indoor bowls player. He prefers rugby to football but has a soft spot for Portsmouth FC.

Salvatore ‘Salv’ Sole

Partner/Head of Property

Salv is a partner at KWW and head of the firm’s highly successful Property department, overseeing our efforts in residential conveyancing and actively driving our commercial property business.

Salv has been with KWW for more than 20 years during which time he has become an expert in a broad range of transactions, including buying, selling, re-mortgaging and transfer of equity. He has cultivated a number of very strong relationships with estate agents throughout Surrey and south-west London.

On the commercial side, Salv is the go-to solicitor in our locality for a number of specialist investors and property developers. He is known for his straightforward, practical and commercial approach and is trusted to deliver outstanding service at a fair price and without undue delay.

With his Sicilian heritage, it comes as no surprise that there’s always a very pleasing aroma of espresso in his office, and Salv’s eye for style was put to good use in the design of the firm’s website.

Like David, Salv is big on sport and enjoys his football especially. He was a decent striker in his heyday and still turns out for the occasional five-a-side. His loyalties are split between Chelsea and Juventus.

John Lennon

Civil Litigation

John is our vastly experienced specialist litigation solicitor who was made a partner in the firm in July 2017.

At the heart of John’s approach to his work is a focus on straightforward, non-nonsense advice that is easy to understand. John will always look for ways to resolve a dispute rather than escalate it and rack up unnecessary expense on behalf of a client.

You can always rely on John to tell it like it is and give you an honest assessment of your chances of success.

John’s expertise encompasses contract disputes, negligence claims, debt recovery, boundary disputes and licensing applications. He is also on hand to run an eye over employment settlement agreements to make sure they are fair and reasonable.

John is a lifelong fan of Fulham FC and has run a number of marathons, raising money for great causes.

Eve Wilson

Partner/Residential Conveyancing

Eve joined KWW in 2014 in a legal support role. Today, she is a partner of the firm and one of the most highly regarded conveyancing solicitors in Surrey.

Eve studied Politics at Exeter University. When she wasn’t buried in her coursework, she learned to fly with the RAF, completing 30 hours in a Grob trainer.

Eve passed the Common Professional Examination at City University and holds a Masters in Law.

As someone who loves local history, one of the best parts of the job for Eve is looking through old deeds and documents.

Since 2013 Eve has been vice chair of governors at a local school, and she is the assistant manager of her daughter’s football team.

She is the proud owner of a Dachshund called Frankie.

Jack Haskew

Partner / Private Client

Jack, who hails from the great American city of Boston, qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has since honed his expertise in immigration, tax and private client services.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Southern California law school, Jack began his legal practice working on the Navajo Nation in Utah as the managing attorney of a rural legal aid office.

Jack has played a key role in helping us embrace a range of technology-based solutions to client administration, making the firm more efficient and speeding up matters for clients. He was appointed a partner at KWW in November 2022.

A father to three sons, Jack says he lives in a world of baseballs, Nerf bullets and the persistent crackle and thud of heavy weapons fire from what was once the family television.

Ade Ajani

Residential Conveyancing

Ade is the newest member of our conveyancing team, having joined us in 2021. Tall of stature and wide of smile, Ade has been an instant hit with colleagues and clients.

Ade was born and raised in Nigeria and moved to the UK to study law. He began his legal career with a High Street solicitors in Camberley, Surrey and then moved to a firm in St Margaret’s Twickenham.

Ade deals with several areas of residential conveyancing: sales and purchases of freeholds and leaseholds; bridging loans; transfers of equity; lease extensions and remortgages.

Ade loves playing football, cooking and going to the theatre. He is also a dab hand at DIY and home renovation. He speaks fluent Yoruba.

Enza Sole

Residential Conveyancing

Enza earned her spurs in a support role for our conveyancing team before becoming a chartered legal executive.

Having an appreciation of all the various administrative tasks associated with buying and selling a property makes Enza a highly efficient conveyancer and she is an excellent communicator.

Enza enjoys running and cooking, with a particular flair for dishes from her native Sicily.

Michelle Clarke

Residential Conveyancing

Michelle qualified as a solicitor in South Africa in 2001 and has practiced as both a conveyancer and litigator for many years.

Returning to her British heritage in 2021, Michelle ultimately joined us in April 2023 after qualifying as a solicitor of England and Wales.

Michelle currently practices in two jurisdictions and KWW is her official introduction to practicing English Property Law, which she is thoroughly enjoying.

Michelle has a passion for the welfare and safeguarding of children and has a history of acting pro bono for organisations which prevent and respond to acts of violence against them.

As befits someone exposed to all that glorious South African sunshine, Michelle loves the outdoor life. She has a keen interest in cycling and hiking and enjoys resting up afterwards with a glass or two of good red wine in the company of friends.

Georgia White

Family Law

Georgia is the youngest member of our legal team but there’s a mature head on those young shoulders and everyone – colleagues and clients alike – has been impressed with the way she goes about her work.

Georgia studied English Literature at the University of Birmingham and then went on to do the Graduate Diploma in Law with BPP University. She worked as a clerk in the Family Court at the Royal Courts of Justice in the summer of 2022, a spell which she says sparked her interest in Family Law.

“I have loved my time at KWW so far and have gained invaluable experience in divorce proceedings, financial remedy and childcare arrangements,” said Georgia. “The team here is so friendly and supportive, and I have enjoyed all the social and charity fundraising efforts, including the walk we all did for Princess Alice Hospice and anything that involves baking cakes!”

Outside of work, Georgia is usually found riding or looking after horses. She has been competing in dressage events since the age of 13.

Stephanie Mends

Private Client

Stephanie graduated from the University of Warwick in 2021 and then did some voluntary work as a paralegal for a few months. So KWW is Stephanie’s first ‘proper job’ and a first step on the ladder of what we are sure will be a great career.

At Warwick, Stephanie particularly enjoyed her studies in criminal law, trusts law and human rights. In her free time, she was operations officer at Warwick Women in Law, helping to raise money for initiatives to promote the inclusion of women in the legal sector.

Stephanie is a keen supporter of the Morning Star Children’s Home, an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya, where she spent 12 days among a team of international volunteers.

Stephanie loves travel and travel shows on TV and admits to having a sweet tooth. To that end, she’s among friends at KWW and will no doubt be encouraged to bring in her home-baked scones and cakes for sampling. We’re looking forward to the red velvet cake!

Nedra Daniel

Private Client

Nedra joined our Private Client team in 2023 with a view to building her knowledge and gaining essential experience on her journey to qualifying as a solicitor.

Nedra grew up in the Caribbean where she became a model and played basketball nationally. She then joined the Royal Navy as a Commonwealth citizen and served on HMS Defender while studying for a Law degree with the Open University.

Nedra obtained her Masters at the University of Law Moorgate and joined a Legal 500 firm in Surrey.

No sooner had she arrived at KWW than she was organising charity fundraisers, helping us to raise money for great causes such as the National Autistic Society and its wonderful Moonshot project.

“I know from personal experience how society can look and feel very different for people with autism, especially children, so I want to do as much as I can to make things better. It was wonderful that all my new colleagues at KWW were so quick to swing in behind me.”

Tony Cheverall

Marketing and Communications

Tony is our consultant on marketing matters and has helped put KWW on the map over the past few years. He has helped us better understand what sets us apart from the competition and then communicated in a clear, jargon-free way.

“It helps that I’m not a lawyer,” says Tony, “because if I don’t understand what we’re trying to say, then I don’t expect the average reader or viewer to understand it either.”

Tony holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Professional Diploma and is also a qualified journalist and magazine editor. He is responsible for all the great stuff you find on our website, on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages and in our local newspaper articles, and he has overseen our programme of events and sponsorships with local organisations.

Tony is always happy to hear from local organisations who need support.
