We’re a friendly team with the experience to understand exactly what you need

KWW is home to a highly trained team of legal professionals that share an enthusiasm for building client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering a first-class service.

Our people are great listeners and demonstrate compassion and empathy in everything they do, ensuring clients feel supported and at ease throughout the whole process.

Our Google reviews speak for themselves, with clients enthusing about individual team members, not just the firm.

It’s important to acknowledge that our front-line advisers wouldn’t be able to do what they do so well without the support of our unsung heroes: our fantastic back-office team.

David Anstee

Managing Partner / Head of Family Law

David, who is our managing partner, heads KWW’s Family Law department, dealing with divorce and separation and always looking to find the best, most amicable, least stressful route forward for clients.

David qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and joined KWW in 1997. He is an accredited specialist with Resolution, a qualified Family Mediator and an accomplished advocate.

As a business leader, David is on a mission to ensure KWW maintains its tradition for personal service while adding all the behind-the-scenes efficiencies that come from embracing new technology.

For relaxation, David enjoys slipping on the earphones and listening to some classic jazz and swing, and he can often be found rummaging around music shops for some rare Blue Note platter or other. He is learning to play the saxophone in a bid to become Surbiton’s answer to Stan Getz.

David loves his sport. He played cricket to a high standard and he is a tidy indoor bowls player. He prefers rugby to football but has a soft spot for Portsmouth FC.

Salvatore ‘Salv’ Sole

Partner/ Head of Commercial Property

Salv is a partner at KWW and head of the firm’s highly successful Commercial Property department, expertly handling acquisitions and disposals, leases and assignments and a raft of related specialisms for the benefit of business owners, landlords and investors.

Salv has been with KWW for more than 20 years during which time he has become the go-to solicitor in our locality for a number of property professionals.

He is known for his straightforward, practical and commercial approach and is trusted to deliver outstanding service at a fair price and without undue delay.

With his Sicilian heritage, it comes as no surprise that there’s always a very pleasing aroma of espresso in his office, and Salv’s eye for style was put to good use in the design of the firm’s website.

Like David, Salv is big on sport and enjoys his football especially. He was a decent striker in his heyday and still turns out for the occasional charity match and five-a-side. His loyalties are split between Chelsea and Juventus.

Eve Wilson

Partner / Head of Residential Conveyancing

Eve joined KWW in 2014 in a legal support role. Today, she is a partner of the firm and Head of our Residential Conveyancing team.

Eve studied Politics at Exeter University. When she wasn’t buried in her coursework, she learned to fly with the RAF, completing 30 hours in a Grob trainer.

Eve passed the Common Professional Examination at City University and holds a Masters in Law.

Although her primary role is on the residential side, Eve also manages some commercial property business.

As a fan of local history, one of the best parts of the job for Eve is looking through old deeds and documents. “You get real sense of how things have changed in Molesey over the past 70 years KWW has been in business,” she says.

Eve is the proud owner of an adorable Dachshund called Frankie who often snuggles down in her office.

Murphy Karen KWW

Karen Starkey

Partner/Head of Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney

Karen is an experienced solicitor specialising in Wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney. She also drafts other important legal documents, such as Declarations of Trust and Deeds of Variation, aimed at protecting the best interests of clients concerned for the future of themselves and their family.

Karen started her legal career at KWW before spreading her wings and practising at a larger law firm in Surrey. We were delighted to welcome her back into the fold in October 2025, returning to run her department and bringing with her a raft of fresh ideas and her trademark enthusiasm for doing a good job well.

Karen is an Associate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners STEP) – the professional body for practitioners who help families with trusts, wills, and inheritance planning – working toward full TEP status.

She enjoys taking walks with her dog Murphy (although he’s not so keen sometimes), supporting her favourite football team as they battle for the Premier League, and meeting up with friends.

Tariq Pub KWW

Tariq Phillips

Partner/Commercial Property Specialist

Tariq joined KWW as a partner in 2025 and we were delighted to secure the skills and knowledge of such a respected and experienced commercial property solicitor.

While Tariq’s sweet spot is transactional work in the licensed leisure sector, he also regularly acts for businesses across all industry sectors.

Tariq’s niche is the pub trade, where he is widely recognised across southern England for his specialist knowledge of the Pubs Code and for representing pub tenants in completing their Market Rent Only (MRO) leases.

Before joining KWW Solicitors, Tariq spent 12 years managing a busy property law practice.

He contributes to legal publications, including the Law Society’s Property in Practice magazine, and he chairs the property sub-committee on Woking Chamber of Commerce.

Away from work, Tariq’s two young children keep him busy, and he coaches his son’s Under 10s football team. In what’s left of his downtime, Tariq keeps a keen eye on developments in the world of communications technology and artificial intelligence.

Michelle joined KWW in April 2023. She has practiced as a conveyancer and litigator for many years and is qualified both here in England (and Wales) and in South Africa, where she lived and worked for a big part of her life.

Michelle is a natural communicator and applies herself with a passion not just to her work with KWW but to a cause that is very close to her heart – the welfare and safeguarding of children.

A recent reviewer said of Michelle: “Ours was a complex purchasing process, and Michelle genuinely listened to us and cared about our concerns.”  Another described her as “responsive, knowledgeable and trustworthy”.

Michelle has acted pro bono for organisations which prevent and respond to acts of violence against young people.

Michelle loves the outdoor life. She is an avid gardener, enjoys hiking and appreciates resting up afterwards with a glass or two of good red wine in the company of friends.

Georgia White

Solicitor-Designate Family Law

Georgia passed her exams to qualify as a solicitor in November 2025. There were few surprises among her colleagues given the high calibre of work she produced as a trainee in our family law department and the wonderful feedback received from clients.

Georgia studied English Literature at the University of Birmingham and then went on to do the Graduate Diploma in Law with BPP University. She worked as a clerk in the Family Court at the Royal Courts of Justice in the summer of 2022, a spell which she says sparked her interest in Family Law.

“I love my work at KWW and feel privileged to have gained invaluable experience in divorce proceedings, financial remedy and childcare arrangements,” said Georgia. “I look forward to carrying on in those fields as a fully fledged solicitor.”

Outside of work, Georgia is usually found riding or looking after horses. She has been competing in dressage events since the age of 13. Georgia is also part of our half-marathon running team and a baker extraordinaire.

Tony Cheverall

Marketing and Communications

Tony is our consultant on marketing matters and has helped put KWW on the map over the past few years. He has helped us better understand what sets us apart from the competition and then communicated in a clear, jargon-free way.

“It helps that I’m not a lawyer,” says Tony, “because if I don’t understand what we’re trying to say, then I don’t expect the average reader or viewer to understand it either.”

Tony holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Professional Diploma and is also a qualified journalist and magazine editor. He is responsible for all the great stuff you find on our website, on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages and in our local newspaper articles, and he has overseen our programme of events and sponsorships with local organisations.

Tony is always happy to hear from local organisations who need support.
