Due to the continued growth of KWW Solicitors’ commercial property business, we are now seeking an ambitious and technically strong commercial property solicitor to join our busy, friendly team here at Walton Road in East Molesey full time.

The Role
As a Solicitor with 3–5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE), you will manage a varied, high-quality autonomous caseload of commercial property matters. You will be trusted to advise a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from local high street businesses and SME developers to high-net-worth investors and landlords. You will be expected to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Management: Independently manage freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals from instruction to completion.
- Landlord & Tenant: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, renewals, assignments, licenses, and break clauses.
- Development & Finance: Assist with conditional contracts, option agreements, planning permissions, secured lending, and property refinancing.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain excellent, long-term relationships with existing clients and local agents.
- Business Development: Actively participate in the firm’s growth initiatives, marketing, and networking activities within the communities we serve (broadly, Surrey and south-west London).
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Experience: 3–5 years of solid PQE specialising in commercial property law.
- Technical Skill: Strong drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation capabilities, with high attention to detail.
- Work Style: A proactive, team-focused professional who can effectively prioritise tasks to hit deadlines.
- Local Insight: An understanding of the regional Surrey market is highly advantageous, along with a genuine enthusiasm for high street practice.
