MAKING OR CHANGING A WILL

A Will is an essential document that every adult should have in place but which is all too easy to put off, with sometimes disastrous consequences

For your own peace of mind and for the sake of your loved ones, don’t delay any further – make today the day you take control. Writing your Will is an empowering exercise: it gives you the opportunity to review your circumstances and affairs, allowing you to plan for now and the future.

Our Will specialists can guide you through the process to ensure you prepare the right Will for you – and one that pays heed to the law in relation to inheritance tax, which seems to change as regularly as perhaps your family circumstances. Ideally, we prepare your Will face to face, either at our offices or in the comfort of your own home if you prefer.

You might also consider arranging Lasting Powers of Attorney.

We recommend preparing LPAs to all our clients to safeguard the position should you become unable to manage your affairs. Find out more here.

  • Complimentary safekeeping
  • The option of having us act as an executor and/or trustee

IMPORTANT!

The Government has recently rejected proposals to regulate will-writing, which means anyone can write a will. If you are tempted to go down this route and save a few pounds rather than engage an expert who will ensure you are adequately protected at the point of your will being written and your estate being administered, please be on guard.
